The original Halloween Horror album Cover |
Side A? That was a story-- fourteen minutes long, a story about a young man (played by Michael Bell) who drives down south to visit a mansion he's suddenly inherited. Like any of us, he tells himself ghost stories to pass the time and then walks into a haunted mansion. This thing is tight as a drum, one chill after another. When the ghost wanders by singing, My baby? Have you seen my baby? you will get chills.
But this record came out in 1978, so it's nowhere to be found. Long out of print-- the last CD press of it was done in 1990. But get this: you can hear the story here:
Halloween Horror is lost, but it's back here.
