Harper Children's snaps up Alex Van Helsing series

I haven't been able to talk outloud about what I've been working on until notice went out, but here it is!

ALEX VAN HELSING is a book series in the same universe as Sword of Dracula and the upcoming Dracula War-- featuring Alex Van Helsing, who has shown up in the comics as an adult. The first hardback should be out next Summer.

Jason Henderson's ALEX VAN HELSING: VAMPIRE RISING, three books in the new middle-grade series ALEX VAN HELSING series beginning with Book 1: VAMPIRE RISING, in which the 12-year-old descendant of the legendary vampire hunter Van Helsing finds himself embroiled in international paranormal intrigue, to Laura Arnold at Harper Children's, for publication in 2010, by Gary Heidt at the Signature Literary Agency (World).

New Annotated Dracula

Just got this today and I'm very excited-- this is a brand new, 700-page, awesomely over-researched New Annotated Dracula. It does my heart good to know that there's always someone out there who knows way more about a subject than I do.

Progress on the new Sword of Dracula Universe project

Dracula War, of course, continues apace and should be finished this Summer (Greg is drawing, but it's a long comic.)

Meanwhile, I've churned through 7 out of the 25 chapters slotted for Book 1 of The Unannounced Project. Goal is to get through Chapter 10 this week.
